Job Title: Azure Data Engineer Education Qualification: • Bachelor’s degree in a Quantitative field or relevant Graduate degree. • 3+ years of experience in a related role. Key Responsibilities: 1. Cloud Platform Expertise: o Proficient with Microsoft Azure and its services including: ▪ Azure Storage ▪ Azure Open AI ▪ Azure Key Vault 2. Azure Databricks Proficiency: o Extensive experience in building pipelines, clusters, and configurations. o Skilled in delta sharing, Unity catalogs, authentication to storage accounts from Databricks, and Databricks administration. 3. Azure Data Factory: o Solid understanding of Azure Data Factory for orchestrating and automating data movement and transformation. 4. Design Architecture: o Basic knowledge of design architecture principles and ability to apply them in cloud-based solutions. 5. Troubleshooting and Debugging: o Efficient in troubleshooting issues and debugging complex problems in data pipelines and environments. 6. Programming Skills: o Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and PySpark. These are critical for data manipulation, analysis, and pipeline creation. 7. Attention to Detail: o Providing precise solutions and recommendations to clients for data migration and data ingestion strategies from DEV to PROD. 8. Environment Maintenance: o Maintaining the environments for various markets to ensure that all product teams can run their code smoothly and without interruptions. 9. Code Optimization and Refactoring: o Continuously improving code quality through optimization and refactoring for better performance and maintainability.
