Azure Infrastructure Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and manage

  Azure Infrastructure

  solutions with a focus on scalability, security, and reliability.
• Lead and execute cloud migration initiatives using

  Azure Migrate

  , including assessment, planning, and execution.
• Implement and manage

  Azure Infrastructure Services

  , including:
• Azure Virtual Machines (VMs)
• VM Scale Sets
• Containers
• Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
• Work with

  Azure Platform Services

  to support application hosting and integration needs.
• Develop and maintain

  Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

  using:
• Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates
• YAML
• PowerShell
• Automate provisioning, configuration, and deployment of Azure resources.
• Build and maintain

  CI/CD pipelines

  using

  GitHub and GitHub Actions

  for infrastructure and application deployments.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize Azure environments for performance, availability, and cost.
• Ensure infrastructure adheres to security, governance, and compliance standards.
• Collaborate with application teams, DevOps engineers, and stakeholders to deliver cloud solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in

  IT Infrastructure

  , with strong focus on

  Microsoft Azure

  .
• Hands-on experience with

  Azure Infrastructure

  and cloud architecture.
• Proven expertise in

  Azure Migrate

  for large-scale or complex migrations.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Azure Virtual Machines and VM Scale Sets
• Containers and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
• Experience with

  Azure Platform Services

  .
• Proficiency in

  Azure Resource Manager (ARM)

  templates.
• Strong scripting and automation skills using

  PowerShell

  .
• Experience working with

  YAML

  for pipelines and configuration.
• Hands-on experience with

  GitHub

  and

  GitHub Actions

  for CI/CD.
• Solid understanding of networking, security, and identity concepts in Azure.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Azure certifications such as:
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
• Experience with hybrid cloud or multi-cloud environments.
• Knowledge of cost optimization and Azure governance (Policies, RBAC, Blueprints).
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Azure Monitor and Log Analytics.
