Position Title: Azure Automation Engineer

Experience: 3+ Years

Location: Remote – India

Working Hours: US Hours

Azure Automation Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain
automation scripts, PowerShell routines, and templates
within Microsoft Azure environments.
Collaborate with
systems and network engineering teams
to script and deploy Azure-based infrastructure according to best practices.
Manage and automate tasks for
Azure VM
,
Azure Sentinel
,
Azure Log Analytics
, and related services.
Develop, analyze, and maintain tools that support and automate cloud deployment and operational processes.
Create and test
installation scripts (MSI/EXE)
for third-party products and maintain script repositories.
Implement and support
Active Directory
and
Azure Active Directory
automation processes.
Contribute to the
software development lifecycle (SDLC)
by integrating automation routines in build and deployment stages.
Maintain accurate documentation for automation processes, routines, and PowerShell libraries.
Support ongoing
patching, monitoring, and maintenance
of Windows and Azure environments.
Generate automation metrics and reports for process optimization and performance visibility.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

3+ years
of hands-on experience in
Microsoft Azure automation
and
PowerShell scripting
.
Strong understanding of
Microsoft Windows environments
, including
Active Directory
and
Azure AD
.
Experience in
Azure cloud operations
,
VM configuration
, and
hybrid cloud workloads
.
Proficiency in
SQL Server
and
T-SQL
scripting.
Knowledge of
Windows Server maintenance, patching, and software deployment
.
Experience with
Azure Sentinel
and
Azure Log Analytics
preferred.
Familiarity with
source control repositories
(Git, Azure DevOps, etc.).
Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple complex projects and meet aggressive deadlines.
