Cloud Engineer

What You’ll Do

Develop & Maintain:
Build and support cloud pipeline code, infrastructure automation, cloud-native applications, and database solutions within an agile framework.
Engineer Cloud Services:
Proactively develop, optimize, and support cloud-hosted services, emphasizing CI/CD best practices to ensure scalable and robust solutions.
Collaborate:
Partner with DevOps, core engineering, and database teams to own solutions end-to-end, driving technical excellence.
Innovate:
Influence solution design and drive enhancements in infrastructure, cloud, and database capabilities. Bring new ideas for continuous improvement.

What You’ll Bring

Experience:
8+ years in cloud technologies, infrastructure engineering, software development, and database administration.
Technical Skills:
Linux operating systems
AWS core services (S3, IAM, EC2, ELB, CloudFormation)
Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation, Terraform, AWS CDK)
Scripting and coding (Bash, Python, JSON/YAML, Mustache)
Networking concepts (VPC, Security Groups, Load Balancers)
Serverless architectures (AWS Lambda, Step Functions, API Gateway)
Monitoring & Logging (CloudWatch, Sumo Logic, Dynatrace)
Database Knowledge:
Oracle Database administration, Data Guard, backup & recovery, performance tuning, and high availability solutions
