Job Description

AVP/AD - Business Development, Industrial & Logistics Services, Mumbai (Land Transaction Opportunities)The AVP/AD - Business Development will be focused on land transactions, will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and securing land opportunities for development. This includes market research, lead generation, client relationship management, negotiation, and deal closure. The role requires a strong understanding of the industrial and logistics real estate market, land acquisition processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Market Analysis & Lead Generation:

  • Conduct thorough market research to identify potential opportunities for industrial and logistics services. This includes analyzing market trends, competitor activity, and demand-supply dynamics relevant to our products.
  • Identify and qualify potential lead opportunities through networking, cold calling, and leveraging industry contacts (brokers, landowners, developers, industrial clients).
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the real estate and industrial ecosystem, including brokers, landowners, developers, and potential end-clients.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Understand client requirements and objectives for their industrial and logistics facilities, including size, application, and specific product needs.
  • Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with potential clients and partners.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to clients, showcasing the value proposition of Bansal Roofing Products and solutions.

Strategy & Reporting:

  • Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth for relevant product categories.
  • Track and report on sales performance, lead generation, and deal closure progress.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., Sales, Production, Technical) to ensure seamless project execution and client satisfaction.

General Responsibilities:

  • Articulate and embody the Bansal Roofing Products culture, modeling organizational values and required behavior, and fostering accountability among team members.
  • Comply with all company systems and policies, including health, safety, and environmental obligations.
  • Work safely and avoid placing yourself or anyone else's health and safety at risk by your acts or omissions.
  • Adhere to environmental policies and relevant procedures and work instructions.
  • Actively participate within relevant internal groups by sharing information and strategies that result in the best outcomes for clients and the company.
  • Understand the Bansal Roofing Products brand and expertise of services delivered to ensure all opportunities to provide a full-service offer to clients and staff are identified and pursued.
  • Comply with all company policies.

Qualifications & Technical Skills:

  • Graduation in any stream.
  • Good understanding of the Industrial market is preferred.
