AVP of Sales

As the Director of Sales at SEW, you will play a crucial role in accelerating our growth by actively engaging with energy and water providers. Your primary responsibility will be to own your geographic territory, generating new accounts, identifying new business opportunities, and expanding sales within existing client accounts. To excel in this role, you should be a seasoned sales professional with a hunter mentality, capable of generating your own leads and maintaining long-term relationships with clients. Your exceptional time management skills will be key to balancing activities such as prospecting, selling, and account management effectively to drive results. Collaborating closely with SEW Sales Leadership, you will define performance metrics and management priorities to enhance sales performance. Additionally, you will champion change to align with SEW's vision and goals while staying attuned to industry trends, market dynamics, and client requirements. Your qualifications should include a Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or a related field, with an MBA or equivalent preferred. You should have 7-10 years of business development experience, particularly in selling to Fortune 500 software companies or city utilities and municipalities. A minimum of 4 years" sales management experience in a business-to-business environment is also required. In this role, you will leverage your strategic and tactical enterprise solution selling skills to tailor presentations according to diverse business needs. Your ability to upsell and cross-sell to existing clients, secure contract renewals, and identify revenue opportunities will be essential for success.
