Job Description

Strategic & Operational Leadership

Develop and execute collection strategies for early, mid, and late-stage delinquent accounts.
Monitor portfolio performance and recommend corrective action plans to reduce NPA levels.
Implement risk-based collection approaches tailored to customer segments.

Team Management

Lead, motivate, and develop collection managers, supervisors, and field teams.
Set performance metrics (KPIs) and ensure adherence to targets.
Provide training, coaching, and feedback to enhance productivity.

Process & Compliance

Ensure all collection activities comply with regulatory, legal, and organizational policies.
Establish robust audit, control, and quality assurance mechanisms.
Collaborate with legal teams for recoveries through litigation where required.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting

Track collection efficiency, resolution rates, and cost of recovery.
Prepare and present regular MIS/reports to senior management.
Analyze portfolio trends and suggest policy refinements.

Vendor & Stakeholder Management

Manage third-party collection agencies, call centers, and legal firms.
Negotiate and monitor vendor SLAs to optimize recovery performance.
Partner with internal stakeholders (Risk, Credit, Legal, Operations) to align on business goals.
