Debug and troubleshoot issues: Identify, analyze, and resolve any defects or issues found during testing to ensure the system meets quality standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with software developers, hardware engineers, and other stakeholders to understand system requirements and ensure smooth testing processes. Develop testing tools and frameworks: Create and maintain testing tools and frameworks to automate testing processes and improve efficiency. Document test results: Record and report test results, defects, and any other relevant information to support system validation and verification activities. Stay current with industry trends: Keep abreast of the latest technologies, tools, and best practices in system testing to continuously improve testing processes and techniques Additional Skills: Understanding of Embedded Systems : Knowledge of embedded systems architecture and how software interacts with hardware components is essential for HIL testing. Scripting and Automation : Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Testing mentioned above) and automation tools to automate testing processes and improve efficiency. Analytical Skills :Ability to analyze complex software systems and identify potential issues or defects in the software. Automotive Skills : Understanding of CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet protocols for automotive communication. Understanding of UDS protocol and diagnostic services and DTCs. Ability to simulate diagnostic scenarios and analyze diagnostic responses.
