Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced and driven Automobile Technical Business Development Manager to lead our efforts in expanding market presence, developing strategic partnerships, and increasing revenue in the automotive sector. This role requires a blend of strong technical expertise in automotive systems and components with exceptional business acumen and relationship-building skills.Key Responsibilities:*Business Development & Strategy
  • Identify new business opportunities and market segments for growth within the automotive industry.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to support strategic decision-making.
Client & Partner Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, fleet operators, and aftermarket clients.
  • Serve as a technical consultant to customers, understanding their needs and offering tailored solutions.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and networking opportunities.
Technical Sales & Support
  • Provide technical presentations and product demonstrations to clients and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with engineering and R&D teams to align customer requirements with product development.
  • Translate complex technical features into business benefits for clients.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related field (MBA is a plus).
  • 5+ years of experience in business development or technical sales in the automotive industry.
  • Strong understanding of automotive systems, components, and technologies (e.g., EV, ICE, telematics).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Ability to travel frequently and work with cross-functional international teams.
Preferred Skills:
  • Knowledge of automotive standards, certifications, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce).
Reporting To:
Director of Sales / Head of Business Development / General Manager – Automotive Division.
