Job Description

About The Opportunity

We operate in the IT Services and Software Product Development sector, specialising in Quality Engineering and Test Automation for enterprise web and API applications. This on-site role in India supports delivery of scalable, secure software solutions across cross-functional product and platform teams.Role & Responsibilities

Design, build and maintain robust automated test suites for web UI and APIs using industry-standard frameworks and patterns (page-object, data-driven).
Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines and run automated checks as part of build/release processes to ensure fast feedback (Jenkins).
Create and execute API test scenarios, validate responses and data integrity using SQL and automated API testing approaches.
Analyze test results, log and triage defects with clear reproduction steps, and verify fixes across environments.
Champion automation best practices: reusable frameworks, reliable reporting, test coverage metrics and flaky-test reduction strategies.
Collaborate closely with developers, product owners and DevOps; mentor junior testers and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Additional Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
Proven experience in automation testing for web and API platforms; prior on-site client delivery experience in India preferred.
Strong troubleshooting mindset, familiarity with version control (Git) and exposure to containerised environments (Docker) is a plus.
