We are looking for a skilled Automation Tester to design, develop, and execute automated test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of our applications. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in automation frameworks, testing tools, and a solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web, mobile, and API applications.
Execute regression, functional, integration, and performance tests.
Identify, log, and track defects; work closely with developers to resolve issues.
Collaborate with QA, development, and business teams to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
Enhance and optimize automation frameworks for scalability and reusability.
Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives in Agile/Scrum environments.
Ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices in testing.
Generate and share detailed test reports and metrics.
Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills:
Strong knowledge of programming/scripting languages: Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#.
Experience in API testing (Postman, RestAssured, Karate, etc.).
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
Understanding of databases (SQL, Oracle, MySQL).
Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
Soft Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and quality-focused mindset.
Ability to work independently and in a collaborative Agile team.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
2–5 years of experience in software testing, with at least 2 years in test automation.
ISTQB or relevant QA certifications (preferred).
