Requirements

We are looking for a dynamic and motivated

Automation Sales Engineer

with strong exposure to industrial automation solutions, particularly in

PLC

,

SCADA

, and

HMI

. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth across the automotive sector, working closely with OEMs, end users, and system integrators. You will play a key role in planning and executing sales strategies while building strong customer relationships and delivering value-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy & Execution:
  • Develop and execute aggressive sales plans to achieve assigned monthly, quarterly, and annual targets
  • Prepare and implement strategic sales forecasts in line with the company's business goals
  • Account Management:
  • Create account plans for key customers and execute engagement strategies accordingly
  • Maintain healthy relationships with existing clients and identify opportunities for cross-selling or upselling automation products and solutions
  • Customer Acquisition:
  • Identify, qualify, and convert potential customers in OEM, SPM, and end-user segments
  • Respond quickly to customer inquiries, solution requests, and technical consultations
  • Industry Engagement:
  • Drive sales efforts in the automotive sector, offering end-to-end automation solutions
  • Maintain constant engagement with stakeholders across technical, purchase, and management levels
  • Collaboration & Coordination:
  • Collaborate internally with engineering, project management, and service teams to ensure high-quality service delivery
  • Work closely with horizontal teams to identify and develop new application-based solutions
  • Partner Development:
  • Foster and manage partnerships with System Integrators (SIs) and Channel Partners to increase reach and efficiency
  • Provide necessary training, demos, and technical support to enhance partner capabilities
  • Territory Management:
  • Cover an assigned territory in and around Haryana, with regular client visits and proactive follow-ups
  • Develop action plans and track performance for the assigned geographical region
  • Market & Competitor Intelligence:
  • Conduct regular market research to track competitor offerings and emerging technologies
  • Provide feedback to the product and marketing teams on customer expectations and market trends

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation preferred)
  • 1-3 years of experience in Automation Sales
  • Strong knowledge of PLC, SCADA, HMI, and industrial control systems
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Prior experience working with OEMs, SPMs, or end-users in the automotive industry is highly desirable
  • Strong customer orientation with problem-solving attitude
  • Willingness to travel extensively (up to 150-200 km)

Desirable Attributes:

  • Familiarity with automotive manufacturing environments
  • Ability to independently manage sales targets and pipelines
  • Proficiency in using CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Self-motivated, with a passion for technology and customer engagement
