Role Description

Automation Executive

practical, real-life productivity automations

This is an execution-heavy role suited for someone who enjoys solving real problems using workflow automation rather than just designing concepts.

Key Responsibilities

Automation & Workflow Development

• Design, build, and maintain automation workflows using

  n8n

• Develop productivity automations such as:

• Daily meeting summaries via WhatsApp / Email

• Calendar-based reminders and task automation
• Automated LinkedIn content posting
• CRM, Google Sheets, Notion, and Email integrations
• Build reliable, scalable workflows with proper error handling

API & Integration Management

• Work with

  APIs and Webhooks

  to connect multiple tools and platforms
• Handle API authentication, data parsing (JSON), and triggers
• Troubleshoot and optimise integrations for performance and reliability

Process Improvement & Documentation

• Identify automation opportunities in internal and client workflows
• Debug and improve existing automation flows
• Document workflows clearly for reuse and scalability
• Collaborate with internal teams to understand operational requirements

Skills & Capabilities

Must Have

• Hands-on experience with n8n (mandatory)

• Good understanding of APIs

  (REST APIs, Webhooks, JSON, authentication)
• Experience with workflow logic: triggers, actions, conditions, error handling
• Ability to translate business problems into automation solutions
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills

Good to Have

• Experience with Zapier or Make
• WhatsApp API / Twilio integrations
• Notion, Airtable, or CRM automations (Zoho / HubSpot)
• Basic JavaScript or Python knowledge
• Experience building automations for founders or SMBs
