Key Responsibilities:

Years of Exp:7-10 Years

• Design and implement scalable API automation frameworks using Java, Rest Assured, and Cucumber.

• Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and product owners to understand requirements and translate them into test scenarios.

• Develop and maintain automated test suites for functional, regression, and integration testing of APIs.

• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).

• Analyze test results, identify issues, and work with development teams to resolve them.

• Ensure test coverage and traceability of requirements.

• Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices in test automation.

• Mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing.

Required Skills:

• Strong proficiency in Java (8 or above).

• Hands-on experience with Rest Assured for API testing.

• Expertise in Cucumber and BDD frameworks.

• Experience with JSON, XML, and API schema validation.

• Familiarity with Postman, Swagger, or similar API tools.

• Experience with Git, Maven/Gradle, and Jenkins.

• Solid understanding of HTTP protocols, RESTful services, and OAuth2/JWT.

• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
