Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned QA Automation Engineer with deep expertise in Selenium, Java, and Cucumber BDD frameworks. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in designing and executing robust automation strategies for enterprise-grade applications. This is a full-time, onsite position based at our client’s Chennai office.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver and Java.
• Implement BDD frameworks using Cucumber to support behavior-driven testing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into test scenarios.
• Execute test cases, analyze results, and report defects using industry-standard tools.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
• Ensure high-quality deliverables through rigorous test coverage and regression testing.

Required Skills

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in automation testing.
• Strong proficiency in Java programming and Selenium WebDriver.
• Solid understanding of Cucumber BDD and Gherkin syntax.
• Experience with test frameworks like TestNG or JUnit.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab).
• Good knowledge of REST API testing and tools like Postman or RestAssured.
• Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and documentation abilities.
