So, what’s the role all about?
As a Senior Automation QA, you will lead the design, development, and execution of automated testing strategies for enterprise-grade financial crime and compliance solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor QA engineers, and drive quality excellence across projects.
How will you make an impact?
- Understand detailed functional and usability requirements to test web applications and backend services.
- Review user stories and participate in grooming and sprint planning to assess testing efforts.
- Write comprehensive test cases and perform exploratory testing for undefined scenarios.
- Execute manual and automated tests to ensure product quality.
- Design and implement automation frameworks using Java/Scala and Robot Framework.
- Collaborate with PMs and developers to deliver high-quality releases.
- Define and improve QA processes and best practices across teams.
- Apply innovative testing concepts to enhance coverage and reliability.
- Troubleshoot application and environment issues effectively.
- Work in Agile teams and contribute to continuous improvement.
Have you got what it takes?
- 2–4 years of experience in manual and automation testing.
- Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, Python, Selenium, and Robot Framework.
- Experience with API automation tools like SOAP UI and Postman.
- Strong scripting skills in relational databases (Postgres, Oracle, MSSQL).
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Artifactory, and Docker.
- Knowledge of SDLC and testing lifecycle phases.
- Experience in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and Actimize platform.
- Familiarity with rules engines and workflow engines.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
