AutoCAD Draughtsman

Position Overview:

The AutoCAD Designer/Draftsman will be responsible for creating detailed layouts and designs for fiber optic networks and solar energy structures using AutoCAD software. This role requires proficiency in both 2D and 3D design techniques, with a focus on precision, accuracy, and adherence to industry standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of telecommunications and renewable energy concepts, along with the ability to translate technical specifications into comprehensive design plans.

Key Responsibilities:

1.Develop precise and detailed layout designs for fiber optic networks, including route planning, cable placement, splice locations, and equipment placement.

2.Create structural layouts for solar energy systems, including site plans, panel layouts, mounting structures, and electrical connections, while considering factors such as sun exposure and structural integrity.

3.Utilize AutoCAD software to produce both 2D and 3D renderings of fiber layouts and solar structures, providing stakeholders with comprehensive visual representations of the designs.

4.Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements, objectives, and constraints, and incorporate feedback into design revisions.

5.Ensure all designs comply with industry standards, regulations, and client specifications, including relevant codes and safety guidelines.

6.Conduct site visits and surveys to gather necessary data and information for design development, troubleshooting, and verification of design feasibility.

7.Work closely with the procurement and construction teams to support material sourcing, procurement planning, and construction coordination based on design requirements.

8.Maintain organized project files, documentation, and version control for all design deliverables, ensuring accurate record-keeping and easy retrieval of information.

9.Stay updated on emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in AutoCAD design, fiber optics, and solar energy systems, and incorporate relevant advancements into design processes.

10.Provide technical support and guidance to junior designers and draftsmen as needed, sharing knowledge and expertise to foster professional growth within the team.

Qualifications:

1.Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in drafting, engineering, architecture, or a related field.

2.Proficiency in AutoCAD software, with demonstrated experience in both 2D and 3D design.

3.Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in complex drawings and designs.

4.Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and convey technical information clearly and concisely.

5.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

6.Familiarity with relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations governing fiber optics and solar energy systems.

7.Experience with other design software and tools, such as GIS software, Revit, or SolidWorks, is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
