Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

1. Maintain Operational Excellence

• Execute accounting and daily operations in the Account to Report (A2R) areas, ensuring timely and compliant financial period closings as per the established calendar and SLA commitments.
• Ensure completeness, accuracy, and validity of actuals reported, adhering to Compliance, Internal Audit, and SOX requirements.
• Provide expertise in Worldwide Procedures, mitigate compliance risks, and recommend solutions while supporting auditors and legal authorities.
• Uphold strong controls to achieve “adequate” internal and external audit ratings.

2. Be a Trusted Business Partner

• Implement global Strategy & Solutions in alignment with organizational taxonomy.
• Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and Operational Key Contacts (OKCs) to ensure cross-sector alignment and maintain robust documentation for a consistent global approach.

3. Build Game-Changing Innovation

• Foster a continuous improvement attitude by generating ideas and identifying process efficiency opportunities.
• Implement operational improvements that align with global standards, driving innovation within the team.

4. Compliance and Accountability

• Enforce to applicable laws and regulations, reinforcing the values and guidelines outlined in the J&J Credo.

Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related business discipline is required.
• Professional certifications (ACCA, ICWA, CPA, CMA, MBA) are highly preferred.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in Finance/ Financial Reporting/ RTR/ GL accounting.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage employees at all levels.
• Excellent communication skills for clear and concise interactions across relevant stakeholders.
• Openness to new ideas, adaptability to rapid changes, and enthusiasm for embracing new technologies.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience within a Shared Service Centre of a multinational corporation or BPO.
• Familiarity with Global Account to Report functions in large multi-state companies.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and fluid situations with a pragmatic approach.
• Strong organizational skills to manage several priorities efficiently under tight deadlines.
• Solid understanding of US GAAP and digital/intelligent automation capabilities.

Other Requirements:

• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP preferred) and advanced MS Excel skills.
• Flexibility to work shifts aligning with global assignments across Americas, EMEA, and Asia.
• Participation in regional/global cross-functional duties as assigned.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
