About the role:

Techno-Commercial Estimation Manager with in-depth expertise in the solar EPC industry, particularly in ground-mounted utility-scale projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in preparing detailed techno-commercial proposals, cost estimation, vendor negotiations, and contract evaluation. This role demands strong analytical ability, market cost awareness, and commercial acumen to develop competitive yet profitable bids. The candidate must demonstrate cross-functional collaboration, accuracy in tender submissions, and an entrepreneurial mindset to support business growth through optimized project costing and strategic estimation.

Nature of Experience Needed for the Position :

Vital /Desirable

• Minimum 8-10 years

  in estimation/costing in

  solar EPC or power projects.

• Ability to generate detailed BOQ and cost break-ups for

  large-scale solar projects.
• Strong experience in tender analysis, costing of EPC components, and vendor evaluation. Strong commercial acumen with knowledge of taxation, duties, and contractual terms.
• Hands-on knowledge of EPC project financial modeling and cost optimization. Willingness to travel for vendor discussions, site evaluations, and client meetings

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Review tender documents, technical specifications, validate the BOQs, Costing preparation and contractual requirements.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates, including modules, BOS, civil works, electrical works, O&M, and indirect costs.
• Conduct rate analysis, vendor quotation comparison, and negotiation for competitive pricing. Evaluate project risks, assumptions, and contingencies to ensure accurate pricing.
• Support bid submission with complete techno-commercial proposals in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Develop cost databases and benchmark studies for future bids.
• Coordinate with complete CFT Cross-functionall team) Design & engineering,an project teams to validate technical feasibility and optimize costs.
• Ensure compliance with contractual, technical, and statutory requirements during estimation. Participate in pre-bid queries, clarification meetings, and discussions with clients/vendors.
• Track market price trends of modules, inverters, structures, and BOS items for cost competitiveness.
