About the Role

Project Finance Specialist

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Leadership Across Lifecycle

  Lead the financial journey of renewable energy projectsfrom bid preparation and appraisal to contract negotiation, financial closure, compliance, investment monitoring, and post-execution reporting.

• Project Finance Expertise

  Collaborate with developers or consultants to manage the financial diligence, bidding strategy, and execution of large-scale solar and BESS projects under TBCB frameworks.

• Advanced Financial Modelling

  Build and validate robust financial models incorporating cash flow analysis, project IRRs, sensitivity testing, and scenario planning to support strategic decision-making.

• Business Analytics & Tools

  Utilize advanced analytics tools such as

  Excel, VBA, Python

  , or specialized finance software to extract insights and optimize financial performance.

• Regulatory & Sectoral Insight

  Navigate the regulatory, technical, and commercial intricacies of TBCB bidding in India’s renewable energy landscape, ensuring compliance and strategic alignment.

Qualifications & Experience

• Chartered Accountant (CA)

  certification with a strong foundation in financial reporting, control, and compliance.

• 3–4 years’ experience in project finance within the solar and BESS sectors, preferably with direct involvement in TBCB projects.

• Proven track record of working with

  developers or consulting firms

  on financial diligence, bidding, or execution of renewable energy projects.
• Proficiency in

  financial modelling

  and

  business analytics tools

  (Excel, VBA, Python, etc.).
