Designation: SCADA Engineer Experience: Mid-Senior Level (10-15 Years) Brief Description: As a RENEWABLE/Transmission substation(400KV/220KV/132KV/33KV) SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining SCADA systems for RENEWABLE/Transmission substation(400KV/220KV/132KV/33KV) energy projects, such as solar, wind, hydroelectric, or geothermal power plants. You will work closely with Vendors to ensure the efficient and reliable operation of RENEWABLE/Transmission substation(400KV/220KV/132KV/33KV) energy assets, leveraging SCADA systems to monitor and control various processes. This role requires a deep understanding of SCADA technology for RENEWABLE/Transmission substation(400KV/220KV/132KV/33KV) energy systems and provides solutions for various applications to customize and optimize. We are looking for SCADA Position for Across Site Locations Designation: Deputy Manager-SCADA Experience: Mid Senior Level (10-15 Years) Location: Across Site Locations** Job Summary: A s a RENEWABLE/Transmission substation(400KV/220KV/132KV/33KV) SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining SCADA systems for RENEWABLE/Transmission substation(400KV/220KV/132KV/33KV) energy projects, such as solar, wind, hydroelectric, or geothermal power plants. You will work closely with Vendors to ensure the efficient and reliable operation of RENEWABLE/Transmission substation(400KV/220KV/132KV/33KV) energy assets, leveraging SCADA systems to monitor and control various processes. This role requires a deep understanding of SCADA technology for RENEWABLE/Transmission substation(400KV/220KV/132KV/33KV) energy systems and provides solutions for various applications to customize and optimize. Key Responsibilities: Design, installation, testing, commissioning, training, troubleshooting, Handing over, and O&M for SCADA systems for RENEWABLE/Transmission substation(400KV/220KV/132KV/33KV) energy projects, considering project specifications, regulatory requirements, and industry standards. Review and evaluate, techno-commercial offer, User interface HMI (Human-Machine Interface) screens, and control logics to monitor and control RENEWABLE/Transmission substation(400KV/220KV/132KV/33KV) energy assets live or remotely. Integrate SCADA systems with RENEWABLE/Transmission substation(400KV/220KV/132KV/33KV) energy equipments such as PV module integrated equipments, inverters, Transformer, Switch gear panels, UPS, Auxiliary equipments, Weather monitoring systems, IED devices, Single axis tracker systems, relays, etc Must have well experience in integrating various 3rd pary devices, establish device level communications between various controllers available in the market. Software configuration and testing of RTUs, Perform (FAT) and (SAT) for SCADA, onsite support, etc. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SCADA systems, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance of RENEWABLE/Transmission substation(400KV/220KV/132KV/33KV) energy assets. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, project managers, and technicians, to implement SCADA solutions effectively. Conduct testing and commissioning of SCADA systems to validate functionality and ensure compliance with project requirements. Provide training and support to operations and maintenance teams on the use of SCADA systems and related technologies. Stay updated on advancements in SCADA technology and RENEWABLE/Transmission substation(400KV/220KV/132KV/33KV) energy industry trends to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation. Participate in site visits and inspections to assess the performance of SCADA systems and identify areas for optimization or enhancement. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact with diverse stakeholders. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment, managing multiple tasks simultaneously. Willingness to travel to project sites as needed and work flexible hours to support project deadlines and operational requirements. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Electrical engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred. Proven experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining SCADA systems, preferably in the RENEWABLE/Transmission substation(400KV/220KV/132KV/33KV) energy sector. Should be familiar with PGCIL/RLDC/CTUIL Standards. Should be familiar with metering standards of central & state utilities & should be updated time to time with the latest amendments in this regards Should be familiar with all the latest relays/integration practices of OEMs such as siemens/ Schneider / GE Etc.. Proficiency in SCADA software platforms such as ABB SCADA, Emerson -Movicon, Zenon, GE iFIX, Rockwell, Siemens, Phoenix Contact, Mitsubishi, Honeywell. Strong programming skills in languages commonly used in SCADA development, such as ladder logic, Function Block Diagram (FBD), or Structured Text (ST). Familiarity with communication protocols used in SCADA systems, including Modbus, DNP3, OPC, and Ethernet/IP. Experience with PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) programming and configuration. Preparing SCADA Architecture, ,etc, Design, prepare and review SCADA architecture, CCTV architecture, PLC specification, SCADA server specification, IO list, Electrical schematics, GA diagrams, GTPs of Switchgear, control gear, instruments, communication devices, Audio/Video, CCTV.,etc Configure communication protocols (e.g., serial, ethernet, OPC modbus RTU, Modbus TCP/IP, Profinet, Profibus, Modbus, IEC 61850, IEC 870-5-101/103/104& DNP3) for data exchange between SCADA systems and field devices either from Solar plant and SAS at substation, Transmission & distribution level. D&E , Bill of material, FAT, database for SCADA panel, PPC, RTU, preparing IO List, Termination Schedule, Erection documentation and O&M Manual. Creating and Managing Data-Logging in SQL Server Integration and communication establishment with LDC /CTU as per the guidelines. Area of expertise PLC firmware understanding, integration, testing with hardware and various protocols. Solar plant and SAS installation and integration of various equipments Integration of Various IED devices OPC Server, SQL Server, Database, OFC, Media converters, protections, Firewall, gateway, communication devices, OFC, ethernet switches RTU Panel design and RTU integration with C&R Panel IED (Protection Relay) communication, IED configuration and integration with RTU Forecasting and scheduling.
