Application Automation Engineer

Role & responsibilities

We are looking for a proactive and technically adept RPA Developer (Blue Prism & VBA) to design, develop, and support scalable automation solutions. This is a hands-on development role, requiring expertise across the RPA lifecycle and strong collaboration with cross-functional teams.
________________________________________Key Responsibilities:• Lead or contribute to end-to-end Blue Prism automation delivery.• Collaborate with SMEs and business teams to capture automation requirements.• Assess technical feasibility and contribute to Solution & Technical Design Documents.• Build, configure, and optimize reusable Blue Prism objects and processes.• Enforce best practices via peer reviews and reusable component design.• Support SIT/UAT, deployment, and post-go-live stabilization.• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across environments, ensuring bot stability.• Maintain version control, documentation, and environment hygiene.________________________________________Required Skills & Experience:• 3+ years of RPA experience, with 2+ years in Blue Prism (v6.x or higher).• Blue Prism Developer Certification Required; Professional Certification – Nice to have.• Strong grasp of core Blue Prism components:o Control Room, Work Queues, Exception Handlingo VBOs, Object Studio & Process Studioo Surface Automation, Scheduler• VBA/Excel Macro automation – Highly Preferred• Hands-on experience with:o Regex for pattern-based automationo OCR/PDF data extractiono Attended/Unattended bot design• Familiarity with:o SQL (MS SQL Server), Git/SVN, JIRA/ServiceNowo MS Office, Teams, Outlook• Basic knowledge of RPA infrastructure (runtime resources, server configs, etc.)________________________________________Soft Skills:• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.• Effective communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.• Self-driven, detail-oriented, and adaptable to fast-changing environments.• Exposure to Agile/Scrum delivery models.________________________________________Good to Have:• Exposure to other RPA tools (e.g., UiPath, Automation Anywhere).• Experience with bot scaling, multi-bot architecture, or RPA DevOps practices.
