Job Description

Possible Duties & Responsibilities of a Supplyco Assigned Manager

Duties assigned maionly for supplyco sales monitoring followup etc

  • Depot / Outlet Operations Management
  • Oversee daily operations of the assigned depot / retail outlet / shop.
  • Ensure that stocks of essential commodities, rationed items, FMCG goods etc. are available.
  • Ensure timely receipt of supplies, proper storage, minimizing wastage or damage.
  • Staff Management & Supervision
  • Supervise the staff under them (clerk, storekeepers, assistants, salespeople etc.).
  • Manage attendance, discipline, training, allocation of duties.
  • Ensure employees follow Supplyco’s procedures, policies, service quality norms.
  • Inventory & Stock Management
  • Manage inventories: issues, receipts, balances; maintain records accurately.
  • Ensure proper storage conditions to avoid spoilage etc.
  • Coordinate with supply / procurement to ensure replenishments.
  • Quality & Standards / Regulatory Compliance
  • Ensure that operations follow rules for rationing, quality of goods, weight/measures, licensing, safety etc.
  • Ensure compliance with government guidelines (subsidized goods, scheme rules, taxes etc.).
  • Customer & Public Relations
  • Handle grievances and complaints; address public feedback.
  • Maintain transparency in sales, billing etc.
  • Financial & Reporting Responsibilities
  • Monitor sales / receipts, ensure that money collected is deposited or accounted as per rules.
  • Maintain records of daily transactions, stocks, wastage etc.
  • Generate reports on performance (sales, shortages, losses etc.) and submit to higher officers.
  • Scheme Implementation & Policy Execution
  • Implement schemes run by Supplyco / Government (e.g. NFSA, subsidy distribution etc.).
  • Ensure correct identification, entitlements, and distributions.
  • Monitor that scheme norms are followed (e.g. prices, quotas etc.).
  • Security & Loss Prevention
  • Prevent pilferage, misuse of subsidized items, unauthorized diversion.
  • Implement proper checks: inventory reconciliation, audits, receipts etc.
  • Coordination & Liaison
  • Coordinate with higher offices with procurement, transport & logistics departments.
  • Liaise with government bodies, local authorities, ration inspectors etc.
  • Planning & Forecasting
  • Based on past sales, demands, seasonal variations, festivals etc., forecast demand for the assigned outlet / depot.
  • Plan for special events or expected surges (monsoons, festivals etc.).
  • Cost & Resource Management
  • Ensure efficient use of resources: manpower, utilities, storage space etc.
  • Control costs (transport, wastage, spoilage, losses).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
