Job Description

Role Overview: As a Project and Development Services Cost Manager, you will play a crucial role in steering projects from the pre-design phase to completion in Pune/India. Working closely with the senior cost manager, you will lead project teams, monitor performance, and ensure project success. Your responsibilities include creating organizational structures, setting project objectives, developing working procedures, and managing project costs effectively to meet the company's target profits. Additionally, you will attend project meetings, prepare reports, oversee contract administration, and promote quality control systems. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and manage project teams, ensuring optimal performance and collaboration - Develop clear project cost plans and allocate budgets effectively - Attend project meetings, prepare reports, and handle contract administration - Oversee negotiations, analyses, and quality control system promotions - Understand, collect, and deliver client requirements - Assist in scheduling, value engineering, and design change management - Support procurement and vendor management activities - Prepare BOQs, Quantity Survey & Quantity Take Off, Cost Analysis - Review and standardize specifications, and ensure sound technical knowledge on Civil/MEP aspects - Finalize commercials with vendors and manage rate contracts Qualifications Required: - Hold a degree in a relevant property-related discipline - Proven track record in design, construction, and cost management - Proficiency in profit planning, business development, networking, and marketing - Strong communication skills in both written and spoken English - Ability to create an environment for team contribution and improvement - Experience in quantity surveying, cost controls, and change management - Expertise in post-contract cost management, cost auditing, and valuation - Proficient in developing cost plans, estimates, and cost reports - Familiarity with negotiation, contractor pricing, and value engineering exercises Additional Details: The Ideal candidate for this role is expected to be a seasoned expert with high-level management skills and a strong background in property-related disciplines.
