Job Description

Key Responsibilities

1. SEO Execution

  • Implement on-page and off-page SEO activities across multiple product categories.
  • Support monthly targets for organic traffic, keyword rankings, and lead generation.
  • Optimize meta tags, headers, URLs, and internal linking structures.

2. Technical SEO Support

  • Conduct basic site audits to identify issues related to crawlability, indexation, and page performance.
  • Coordinate with the tech and design teams to implement technical fixes.
  • Assist with schema markup updates, sitemap submissions, and monitoring of Core Web Vitals.

3. Content Optimization

  • Perform keyword research and competitor analysis to support content development.
  • Optimize blog posts, landing pages, and program descriptions for SEO.
  • Update existing content to maintain relevance and improve ranking potential.

4. Analytics & Reporting

  • Track key metrics such as traffic, impressions, CTR, bounce rate, and keyword movement.
  • Use tools like GA4, GSC, and SEMrush/Ahrefs to extract insights.
  • Prepare weekly/monthly performance reports for internal teams.

5. Collaboration & Coordination

  • Work closely with content writers, designers, and marketing teams to support SEO-led initiatives.
  • Support link-building and outreach activities.
  • Share data insights and identify opportunities for optimization.

6. Trend Monitoring

  • Stay updated with basic SEO best practices, Google algorithm updates, and industry trends.
  • Explore the use of AI tools for content optimization and workflow automation.

Candidate ProfileQualifications & Experience

  • 1–3 years of hands-on SEO experience (EdTech experience is a plus).
  • Good understanding of keyword research, on-page SEO, and basic technical SEO.
  • Familiarity with WordPress or any major CMS.
  • Basic understanding of HTML/CSS is an added advantage.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.

Tools & Platforms

  • SEO Tools: Google Analytics (GA4), Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog.
  • AI Tools: ChatGPT, Surfer SEO, Jasper, or similar.
  • Project Management: Asana, Trello, Notion (preferred but not mandatory).
