Research Analyst Opportunity – Infrastructure Sector Project (India)

We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Research Analyst to join a prestigious and socially relevant research initiative in India’s infrastructure sector. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a confidential, high-impact project led by renowned faculty from IIM Bangalore, with the goal of generating insights that shape national policy and deliver public value.

What You’ll Do:

1. Collect, organize, and analyze financial and operational data across a range of infrastructure initiatives. 
2. Conduct comparative analysis and performance benchmarking. 
3. Work closely with academics and experts to derive meaningful insights from complex datasets. 
4. Support the development of evidence-backed recommendations for infrastructure planning and evaluation.

Who You Are:

1. A recent graduate or post-graduate in Commerce, Finance, or Management from a leading academic institution. 
2. Alternately, a graduate from any discipline who has completed CFA Level 1 (or higher) or possesses a strong foundation in financial analysis. 
3. Proficient in working with data using Excel and basic analytics tools; familiarity with financial metrics, ratios, and performance evaluation. 
4. Strong communication skills and the ability to synthesize findings clearly and professionally. 
5. Comfortable working independently, handling confidential material, and meeting high academic standards.
