Job Description

Role & responsibilities

1. Business Acquisition & Sales

  • Source and acquire new customers for HL & LAP through direct channels, connectors, DSA/agents, and open-market activities.
  • Generate leads through field visits, marketing activities, references, and builder/channel partner relationships.
  • Conduct detailed need assessments of customers to match loan offerings effectively.
  • Achieve monthly login, sanction, and disbursement targets as per business goals.

2. Customer Relationship Management

  • Maintain regular follow-ups with customers from lead stage to disbursement.
  • Provide end-to-end assistance, including loan explanation, documentation guidance, and product clarification.
  • Build long-term relationships with customers to increase cross-sell and repeat business opportunities.
  • Resolve queries promptly to ensure a smooth onboarding and post-disbursement experience.

3. Documentation & Compliance

  • Collect, verify, and validate KYC documents, financials, bank statements, and property-related documents.
  • Coordinate with credit, legal, technical, and operations teams to ensure timely processing of loan files.
  • Ensure documentation accuracy and strict adherence to company policies and RBI compliance requirements.
  • Track file movement at every stage and highlight discrepancies immediately for faster resolution.

4. Market Intelligence & Channel Development

  • Develop and nurture relationships with builders, property brokers, CA firms, DSAs, and referral partners.
  • Stay updated on competition offerings, pricing, local market trends, and customer preferences.
  • Identify new business segments and geographical pockets for quality sourcing.

5. Portfolio Quality & Risk Management

  • Ensure healthy sourcing by following proper eligibility checks and preliminary assessments.
  • Maintain a low-delinquency portfolio by identifying early warning signals.
  • Support collections team when required for overdue accounts.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Strong understanding of Home Loan & LAP products, documentation, and property evaluation basics.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build strong customer and channel relationships.
  • Target-driven mindset with high self-motivation and field orientation.
  • Good understanding of income assessment for salaried & self-employed customers.
  • Basic knowledge of legal & technical checks related to property.
