Position Summary:

The Jindal School of Government and Public Policy (JSGP) at O.P. Jindal Global University (JGU) invites applications for full-time faculty positions to be appointed from the Spring 2026 semester (February 2026) or earlier. We invite applications from candidates in Philosophy with a broad interest in public policy, and a specialisation in one or more of the following areas:

• Indian Philosophy
• Moral Philosophy
• Classical and Modern Western Philosophy
• Philosophy of Mind
• Metaphysics
• Epistemology
• Philosophy of Language

Appointments will be made at the Assistant Professor or Associate Professor level, depending on qualifications and experience.

Roles and responsibilities:

Faculty members will be expected to follow the below roles and responsibilities.

1. Teaching and Advising

   : The primary responsibility of this position is to teach and advise university students in Economics and Public Policy.

2. Research

   : The role also involves conducting high-quality research focused on innovations in Economics and Public Policy.

3. Academic Administration

   : Additionally, successful candidates will contribute to academic administration tasks related to their field.

4. Teaching Load

   : Appointees will be expected to teach graduate and undergraduate students both in residential and online programs. The teaching load will be commensurate with the appointment.

**Basic Qualification**(Required at the time of Application)

• Ph.D. or equivalent degree in Public Policy or Economics.

• Relevant Teaching experience at the undergraduate/graduate levels.

• Experience in undertaking high-quality independent research and its dissemination in peer-reviewed journal articles, manuscripts, working papers, and policy briefs, among others.
