Associate Manager – Designate

Position Summary:

The Associate Manager will be a key contributor in advancing policy advocacy initiatives, driving impactful member engagement, and managing secretarial responsibilities. The candidate must be self-driven, proactive, and comfortable working with senior industry leaders in a fast-paced, stakeholder-focused environment. Key Responsibilities:

1. Secretarial & Administrative Excellence

• Coordinate and support meetings of its Members, Committees, and Working Groups, ensuring accurate minutes, action tracking, and timely follow-ups.
• Draft high-quality correspondence, reports, and presentations for internal andexternal stakeholders.
• Manage scheduling, record-keeping, & communication to ensure operational efficiency.

2. Policy Advocacy Support

• Draft position papers & policy briefs on issues impacting the MedTech sector
• Monitor and analyse healthcare and trade policy developments, highlighting implications for members
• Coordinate advocacy campaigns and meetings with government, regulators, and allied association
• Conduct research and benchmarking to strengthen evidence-based advocacy

3. Member Engagement & Relations

• Build strong relationships with member companies to understand andrepresent their priorities effectively.
• Organize conferences, roundtables, and meetings to enhance industrycollaboration.
• Act as the primary contact for member queries, ensuring responsiveness andhigh satisfaction.
• Support membership expansion through outreach, onboarding, andengagement programs.

4. External Stakeholder Engagement

• Conduct field visits and outreach to government and regulators to build relationships and gather policy insights.
• Proactively open doors and secure meetings with senior policymakers toadvance advocacy objectives.
• Represent MTaI at key forums and meetings

5. Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with communications teams to align activities with strategic objectives.
• Contribute to newsletters, thought leadership content, and advocacy materialsto elevate the association’s voice

Qualifications & Skills:

• Education:

  Graduate/Postgraduate in Public Policy, Healthcare Management, LifeSciences, Business Administration, or related fields.

• Experience:

  At least 5 years in policy advocacy, healthcare/MedTech industry,corporate secretarial work, or membership-driven organizations.

Core Skills:

• Deep understanding of India’s MedTech or healthcare policy environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication with an ability to craft policy documents and presentations.
• Proven stakeholder engagement and event management capabilities.
• High attention to detail, organizational discipline, and ability to manage multiplepriorities.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and digital collaboration tools.
