You can also follow us on LinkedIn and Instagram.We are seeking a motivated Application Support Engineer with 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience supporting enterprise applications, specifically the M-Files Document Management System or any similar document management system. The ideal candidate will have foundational knowledge of Windows administration and Azure cloud services, applied specifically to document management system hosting, integration, and user management. This role focuses on ensuring the smooth operation, configuration, and user support of the document management system within a dynamic enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities
- 2 to 3 years of experience in Application Support or IT Support roles, preferably with exposure to M-Files or similar Document Management Systems.
- Practical knowledge of document management system configuration, workflows, metadata, and permissions management.
- Experience managing Windows user accounts and federated authentication with a focus on document management system user access and security.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure cloud services as they relate to document management system hosting, integration, and access management.
- Configure, maintain, and support the M-Files Document Management System (DMS), or similar DMS platforms, including workflows, metadata, and user permissions aligned with business needs.
- Provide day-to-day application support to end users for the document management system, ensuring prompt resolution of incidents and service requests.
- Assist in managing user access related to the document management system by coordinating with Identity access management teams to ensure proper permissions are in place.
- Support Azure cloud services that host or integrate with the document management system, ensuring secure access and smooth interoperability.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with vendors or internal teams for escalations.
- Facilitate integration of the document management system with other enterprise applications using Azure services where applicable, enabling seamless data exchange and automation.
- Document system configurations, troubleshooting steps, and support procedures to promote effective knowledge sharing.
- Conduct user training sessions focused on document management system features and best practices to improve user adoption and reduce support tickets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on projects aimed at enhancing system functionality and overall operational efficiency.
