Job Description

Purpose/Objective


    Officer/Supervisor for C&I Maintenance in power plants having DCS PLC system

Key Responsibilities of Role


    1. Field instruments (Transmitters, Switches, Gauges) installation, repair, troubleshooting, PM and calibration. 2. Maintenance, calibration and trouble shooting of Actuators (Pneumatics, Motorized, Hydraulic and SOV) . 3. Installation, maintenance, servicing & calibration of Analytical instruments (O2, CO, SOx, NOx,). 4. Maintenance, calibration and trouble shooting of Coal feeder, SWAS, & power plant instrumentation systems. 5. Maintenance, calibration and trouble shooting of turbo supervisory instruments. 6. Trouble shooting of relay panel, DCS/PLC, field JB wiring problems. 7. Identifying necessary spares requirements for field instruments, actuators, analysers and conveying it to superiors for its procurement 8. Follow best maintenance practices and usage of proper tools for executing any job. 9. Carry out day-to-day preventive maintenance of the assigned instruments / equipment. 10. Solving defects on day-to-day basis to prevent equipment breakdown.

Technical Competencies


Qualifications and Experience


    Diploma in Instrument or Electronics with 3 to 5 year experience in power plant.
