Key Responsibilities

Strategic Maintenance Leadership

• Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance policies (preventive, predictive, and breakdown).
• Translate production and business targets into actionable maintenance strategies.
• Define and track KPIs such as MTBF, MTTR, and equipment uptime.

CAPEX & Project Management

• Lead erection and commissioning of new machinery blocks (e.g., 30,000-spindle greenfield projects).
• Handle end-to-end CAPEX planning, vendor finalisation, installation, and project risk management.

Technical Expertise Across Spinning Systems

• Ensure operational efficiency across:
• Blow Room & Carding: LMW, Rieter, Crosrol
• Comber & Draw Frames: Rieter E-60, LD2 Series
• Speed & Ring Frames: LF Series, LR6S, LR9AX
• OE Airjet Systems: Murata Vortex MVS-861
• Drive reliability initiatives and root cause analysis for recurring failures.

Quality & Compliance

• Ensure adherence to ISO 9000, EMS 14001, SA 8000, and GOTS compliance.
• Conduct internal audits, prepare documentation, and lead team trainings.

Cost Control & Budgeting

• Prepare and monitor annual maintenance budgets.
• Implement cost-saving measures (e.g., in-house refurbishments, inventory rationalisation).
• Align maintenance spend with operational priorities and ROI goals.

Predictive Maintenance & Technology Adoption

• Deploy condition-monitoring techniques such as vibration analysis, thermography, and oil diagnostics.
• Implement predictive maintenance frameworks to reduce unplanned downtime.

Team Leadership & Development

• Lead cross-functional teams including engineers, technicians, and contract labour.
• Build competency frameworks and conduct skill development sessions.
• Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.

ERP/SAP & Digital Systems

• Manage maintenance operations via ERP/SAP (PM, MM modules).
• Analyse equipment performance trends and generate data-driven insights for planning.
• Maintain accurate digital records of equipment history and spare part usage.
