Associate Director – Research & Advisory Services

Key Responsibilities

Primary Research & Analysis

• Conduct in-depth research across assigned technology domains (e.g., cybersecurity, networking, data platforms, AI, enterprise applications, etc.).
• Analyze industry trends, vendor landscapes, buyer behavior, and market dynamics.
• Author research reports, SPARK Matrix evaluations, blogs, and insight briefs.

Advisory Engagements

• Provide 1:1 advisory sessions to enterprise clients and technology vendors.
• Answer client inquiries, provide decision support, and guide them through market challenges.
• Contribute to analyst briefings, product assessments, and positioning discussions.

Client Relationship Building

• Develop strong, trust-based relationships with key clients.
• Participate in client calls, events, or strategy sessions to understand needs and provide high-quality insights.
• Work closely with the Customer Success and Sales teams to support retention and upsell opportunities.

Thought Leadership

• Represent QKS Group in public forums (webinars, panels, LinkedIn, etc.).
• Build personal brand as a trusted advisor and domain expert.
• Collaborate with internal teams on content, community programs, and product feedback.

Preferred Qualifications

• 10–15 years of experience in consulting, product management, product marketing, or solution engineering.
• Prior experience at technology level, enterprise tech vendor, or boutique consultancy.
• Exposure to enterprise IT buyer personas (CIO, CISO, CDO, etc.).
• Strong client-facing communication and executive presence.
• MBA or equivalent degree is a must.
