Job Description

As an Event Management Assistant at our company, you will play a vital role in ensuring the seamless execution of all property events. Your responsibilities will involve a smooth turnover from sales to operations and back to sales. Your primary focus will be on meeting the target customer needs, enhancing employee satisfaction, increasing event revenues, and optimizing the financial performance of the department. **Core Work Activities:** - Conduct research and analysis on new products, pricing, and services offered by competitors. - Review scheduled events and proactively address any potential challenges or conflicts. - Keep the property informed about all groups that might impact its operations. - Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure compliance with food handling and sanitation standards. - Assist in overseeing Event Operations, including Banquets, Event Services, and Event Technology. - Supervise the event planning team to ensure effective execution. - Maintain cleanliness and functionality of meeting spaces and related areas. - Manage inventory levels and maintenance of furniture and equipment as per corporate guidelines. - Implement brand service initiatives in event management areas. **Managing Profitability:** - Present innovative ideas to the leadership team to maintain competitiveness. - Encourage taking calculated risks to drive incremental revenue and deliver exceptional guest service. - Establish relationships with external vendors to enhance the event experience and increase revenue opportunities. **Ensuring Exceptional Customer Service:** - Create an atmosphere in all event management areas that exceeds guest expectations. - Consult with customers to understand their objectives and requirements for events.
