Job Description

Overview The Infrastructure Delivery lead Compute will ensure delivery of IT Infrastructure Services across compute Datacenter, Distributed, Cloud and other initiatives around compute services enablement. This includes analyzing requirements from the business and/or deployment organizations, initiating requests with PepsiCos managed service suppliers and partners, reviewing and approving design, solutions and partnering with PepsiCos strategic partners and suppliers to deliver solutions in line with PepsiCo Infrastructure engineering and architecture standards. This role involved demand shaping, coordinating with project management team, implementation team, market teams to successfully implement new solutions and support until handed over to sustain support. Responsibilities Ensure infrastructure projects delivery on-time and within budget. Manage work-in-take for projects and business as usual demand. Create and track service requests assigned to managed service providers in support of business as usual and projects. Review and approve technical solutions and estimations provided by PepsiCos suppliers. Manage project communications and reporting Develop project KPI dashboards; Track and report on overall health of the projects including risks and issues; setup and delivery consistent project updates and status via regular project performance scorecards Partner with Asset Management team in hardware procurement and asset tracking Assist with onboarding PepsiCos Infra delivery suppliers and partners Drive and deliver with project budget management, tracking, forecasting and billing reconciliations. Drive and manage with escalations to the 3rd party suppliers, and review 3rd party supplier's response levels to Service Requests and Change Requests. Ensure continuous improvement in value optimization, IT performance, and business processes where applicable Implement standard and improved processes and tools to improve the quality and efficiency of Infrastructure delivery based on ITIL methodology. Maintain and update system documentation including process and procedure manuals. Ensure handoff to IT Operations team for seamless transition from project completion to ongoing sustain Qualifications Bachelor's Degree Required (computer science, computer engineering, or information systems) 15 or more years of technology and IT experience, with minimum of 5 years in IT Infrastructure services (Compute/ Database / Cloud) in delivery and/or architecture and engineering and/or Operations domains. Comprehensive understanding of one or more of the following areascompute / Server and storage technologies, Disaster Recovery, database (Oracle, SQL) services. Experience working on large scale infrastructure projects Infra refreshes, consolidating and modernizing technology footprints, cloud integration and migration, and network traffic/capacity optimization. Ability to partner with multiple internal and vendor teams effectively, manage deliverables and outcomes through multiple managed service providers. Strong communication and presentation skills New office IT Infrastructure enablement
