Role Overview
PrepLadder is seeking a dynamic and driven Associate Director – FMGE to lead growth initiatives in both domestic and international markets. This role will focus on strengthening FMGE (Foreign Medical Graduate Examination) business by managing partnerships, scaling market presence, and driving student enrollments. The ideal candidate should have strong business acumen, international exposure, and the flexibility to travel frequently abroad for business expansion.

Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Drive FMGE business growth strategy across domestic and international markets.
  • Build, manage, and nurture relationships with international universities, partners, and student communities.
  • Develop and execute business development plans, including overseas marketing and student engagement initiatives.
  • Represent PrepLadder at international events, seminars, and student fairs to build brand presence and generate leads.
  • Collaborate with the central PMO, content, marketing, and sales teams to align strategies and deliver seamless execution.
  • Provide regular business insights, MIS reports, and competitor analysis to the AVP Business Development.
  • Identify and pursue new partnership opportunities to expand PrepLadder’s FMGE reach.
  • Monitor team performance and ensure KPIs (student acquisition, conversion rates, revenue) are met.
  • Ensure compliance with international business practices, contracts, and agreements.
  • Travel extensively abroad for business meetings, negotiations, and partner relationship management.
Requirements:
  • 8–12 years of experience in Business Development, International Sales, or Academic Partnerships, preferably in EdTech or Education domains.
  • Strong understanding of FMGE/Medical Education ecosystem and student needs.
  • Proven track record of handling international markets, partnerships, and business travel.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and drive business outcomes across geographies.
  • Strong data-driven decision-making and reporting abilities.
  • Willingness to travel frequently abroad as per business requirements.
  • MBA or equivalent degree preferred; Medical/Healthcare education background is an added advantage.
