About the Role :

As the Associate Director of Product Design, you will play a critical role in shaping the design vision and strategy for our products. You will lead a team of talented designers, foster a culture of creativity and innovation, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to create outstanding user experiences. Your expertise and leadership will drive the success of our product design efforts.

What you will do :

• Lead and mentor a team of product designers, providing guidance, support, and fostering a collaborative and creative work environment
• Work closely with the leadership to define and execute the design vision, strategy, and goals for the organization
• Oversee the design process from concept to execution, ensuring the development of user-centered, visually appealing, and functional product designs.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to align design efforts with overall product goals and timelines
• Utilize user research and feedback to inform design decisions and ensure a user-centric approach
• Maintain high design standards and drive continuous improvement in design quality and innovation
• Manage multiple design projects, set priorities, and allocate resources effectively to meet project deadlines
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, design tools, and technologies to ensure the design team is using the best available resources

What you should have :

• Bachelor's degree in Design, Graphic Design, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
• 10+ years of professional experience in product design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in user-centered design.
• 3+ years of experience in a leadership or managerial role within a design team.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, user research, and usability testing.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Demonstrated ability to balance creative thinking with strong project management skills
