Colruyt Group India is looking for a Leader who would take up the role of (Associate) Delivery Head for Application Development and Maintenance teams in Service Center ADM. This Service Center delivers projects and programs using emerging technologies and tools in Java, Mainframe etc to support Colruyt Group business in a global working model. They also do support and maintenance of the custom applications / packages.
Roles & Responsibilities of (Associate) Delivery Head:
Delivery Management
· Responsible for the service delivery on the services team is delivering
· Responsible for delivery of Projects / Programs under his / her portfolio
· Responsible for the Production support and bug fixing activities
· Responsible for Stakeholder Management and achieve high customer satisfaction
· Support the Project Managers and Delivery Managers in the project / program delivery
· Ensuring that everyone in the team knows and executes his or her role in the service delivery
· Responsible for cost / budget management
· Reporting on project status to stakeholders
· Introduce best practices within the team to maximize the team’s productivity
· Change Management
Leadership
· Go getter and Lead by example
· Lead employees to meet the organization's expectations for productivity, quality, and goal accomplishment.
· Achieve stretched goals through inspirational leadership
· Applies significant knowledge of industry trends and developments to improve services of the team
· Creates and executes development plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
· As a part of Middle Management, responsible for making team level decisions, and implement the same in efficient and effective way.
· Organize the team, making it efficient and effective, and ensure there is constant improvement in internal and external collaboration processes.
· Considers organizational values, employee's expertise and past contributions, and opportunities for development when delegating assignments
· Be a catalyst in implementing our Colruyt values in the organization.
People Development
· People management for a team of 20-30 members from juniors to senior level.
· Responsible for indicating a direction in the short run so that it is clear for everybody which way we are heading and to make sure we are all on the same wavelength.
· Responsible for mobilizing and channeling the energy of employees and colleagues to make sure everybody is committed to reach the objectives set.
· Responsible for coaching and following the personnel so that each individual and the team have the space to grow (SKILL).
· Responsible for team member’s personal development to become stronger and more conscious.
· Responsible for short-term planning and organization, so that people as well as means are brought into action in the most efficient way.
· Responsible for his/her own presence and availability so that employees have a personal contact for their needs and for taking on the role as a superior.
· Responsible for promoting the (group) mission and values so that the team can understand the reasons, co-ownership is brought about and the team members understand and follow group culture
· Responsible for following and adjusting the work so that we, as a service, comply with the SLEs agreed on with the customer in the total process.
· Responsible for all staffing decisions in the team (Recruitment, Induction, Performance Appraisal, Release etc.)
· Engage, Energize, Evaluate and Empower team members
Communication & collaboration
· Responsible for the synergy with other teams (in India and Belgium) and directions, so that the team contributes significantly to the global process.
· Identifying and resolving problems, determining quality improvements and implementing change.
· Shares information with team through frequent, open, quality, two-way communication with a sense of direction
· Total experience of 18+ years in Application Development and Maintenance activities
· Have at least 5 years of project / program delivery experience in Waterfall / Agile methodologies
· Have at least 3 years of experience in core people management
· Experience in handling technical teams of 25+ people
· Experience in managing cross functional teams including analysts, architects, software engineers, QA et
· Experience in managing vendors and their deliverables
· Experience in managing teams in global working model in onsite – offshore model
· Strong in stakeholder management and building trust relationships with the clients
· Good experience in ITIL practices is preferred
· Be a believer of values and have necessary soft skills (respect for individual, active listening, cost/benefit thinking, little “hierarchical thinking”, service oriented, efficiency…). A role model in these areas
