We are seeking a highly motivated Associate Consultant / Consultant specializing in Data Center and Cloud Infrastructure to join our ICT consulting practice. The selected candidate will play a critical role in supporting strategic research and consulting assignments focused on data centers, cloud computing, hyperscaler ecosystems, and enterprise cloud transformation.
The role requires strong analytical ability, structured problem-solving, and excellent communication skills for client-facing engagements including opportunities to interact with and present findings to CXOs, technology leaders, and policymakers.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct market research, competitive benchmarking, and data modeling across data center and cloud domains (colocation, edge, hyperscale, private/public/hybrid cloud).
- Analyze industry trends, business models, demand drivers, and investment opportunities in infrastructure and cloud markets.
- Develop strategic recommendations for clients on topics such as data center capacity planning, site selection, cloud adoption strategy, and sustainability initiatives.
- Prepare high-quality consulting deliverables market assessment reports, financial/market models, client presentations, proposals, and strategic roadmaps.
- Engage directly with CXOs, industry stakeholders, investors, and regulators through interviews, workshops, and strategy sessions.
- Support business development efforts through preparation of proposals, thought leadership reports, and market intelligence decks.
- Ensure project timelines and deliverable quality standards are consistently met while coordinating with cross-functional global teams.
- Contribute to Frost & Sullivan s research thought leadership in data center and cloud transformation domains.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor s degree in Engineering or Technology; MBA / Postgraduate preferred.
- 2-3 years of professional experience in research, consulting, or advisory services within the ICT or technology infrastructure space.
- Demonstrated expertise in Data Center and Cloud ecosystems, including:
- Data center infrastructure, colocation, and hyperscale facilities.
- Cloud computing models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and hybrid cloud strategies.
- Cloud service providers (AWS, Azure, GCP, Oracle Cloud, etc.) and local data center players.
- Strong skills in quantitative and qualitative analysis and market sizing
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced modeling) and PowerPoint (executive-level presentations).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills able to present complex insights clearly to senior executives.
- Solid project management and stakeholder coordination abilities.
Preferred Skills & Competencies
- Knowledge of related ICT segments such as edge computing, virtualization, sustainability in data centers (green DC), and AI-ready infrastructure.
- Experience in forecasting, techno-economic analysis for data center / cloud projects.
- Prior experience working with consulting firms, cloud providers, or strategy teams in technology infrastructure.
- Passion for emerging technologies (AI, HPC, IoT, 5G) and how they influence data center and cloud growth.
- Team-oriented mindset with ability to work in multicultural, fast-paced environments.
