Associate at Business VCFO

Key Responsibilities:

1. Accounting & Bookkeeping: Assist in daily accounting, reconciliations, and financial statements per GAAP.

2. Tax Compliance: Support federal, state, and local tax return preparation (Forms 1120, 1120S, 1065, 1040/1040NR). Ensure timely filings.

3. Payroll Processing: Assist in payroll and tax filings, ensuring compliance with federal and state laws.

4. Sales Tax Management: Prepare, file, and reconcile sales tax returns while ensuring multi-state compliance.

5. Financial Reporting: Generate reports, analyze cash flow, and support financial planning.

6. Compliance & Documentation: Maintain business licenses, registrations, and audit documentation.

7. Client Coordination: Support communication, gather information, and ensure timely deliverables.

8. System Implementation: Assist in setting up and maintaining accounting software like QuickBooks and Xero.

9. Research & Development: Stay updated on U.S. tax laws and conduct research on client queries.

10. Miscellaneous: Assist in proposals, presentations, and process improvements for the Business VCFO division.

Educational Qualifications:

• MBA finance
• CA
• CPA (USA)
• Graduates/ ACCA/ Freshers with excellent communication
• Expertise in finance background

What you should have:

• Knowledge of U.S. tax and accounting principles (prior exposure to U.S. clients is a plus).

• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and tools like Excel.

• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
