Role Overview: You will be a member of RSM USIs growing Process Risk and Controls Practice, where you will have the opportunity to utilize your experience and knowledge while enhancing your leadership skills through client exposure, career development, mentorship opportunities, and a diverse and inclusive culture. Key Responsibilities: - Work with clients to identify and prioritize risks, leveraging processes and controls to reduce risk exposure - Develop executive presence through interactions with management and clients - Support RSM's goals around diversity and inclusion by fostering an environment that values varied perspectives - Execute components of internal audit under the offshore delivery model effectively and efficiently - Review, document, and test control designs and operating effectiveness for various business processes - Participate in risk assessment management interviews and update risk assessment models - Review narratives and flowcharts for processes, identifying risks and controls as needed - Perform first-level review of associates" work, ensuring accuracy and completeness - Use problem-solving skills to identify internal control deficiencies and advise clients accordingly - Manage multiple concurrent engagements and ensure service excellence through prompt responses to clients - Work collaboratively as part of a team, communicating effectively with clients and RSM professionals daily Qualification Required: - Chartered Accountant with 2 to 3 years of experience in US-based internal audit, SOX advisory, financial controls, contract compliance, and credit reviews - Strong understanding of financial and operational audits, internal controls over financial reporting, and SOX 404 - Advanced proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, PowerBI, MS Forms, and MS Visio - Comfortable with a hybrid work environment and possess strong project management and multitasking skills - Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English for frequent client communication - Willingness to travel for business needs and collaborate with others in-person and remotely Note: At RSM, a competitive benefits and compensation package is offered to all employees, providing flexibility in your schedule to balance work and personal life.
