Assistant Warehouse Manager

We are looking for a Warehouse Assistant Manager who is detail-oriented, organized, and strong in Excel. The role involves managing inventory movement between warehouse rooms, supervising two warehouse teams, maintaining accurate stock records, and planning space for incoming shipments. The ideal candidate should be process-driven, capable of maintaining exact inventory data through Excel, and proactive in warehouse planning and execution. Key Responsibilities Warehouse Operations & Inventory Management Oversee movement of items between different warehouse rooms and ensure proper documentation. Ensure all products are stored in their designated locations with correct: Product name Brand Quantity per box Number of boxes – on excel Maintain 100% accurate inventory records using Excel. Conduct regular physical stock checks and reconcile with Excel records. Ensure FIFO / batch-wise storage where applicable. Team Management Manage and coordinate two warehouse teams operating in different rooms. Allocate daily tasks and monitor productivity. Ensure discipline, accuracy, and adherence to warehouse processes. Train team members on product handling, storage, and inventory processes. Product & Space Planning Learn and understand all products, SKUs, and brands stored in the warehouse. Plan and optimize warehouse space for incoming shipments. Coordinate with procurement/logistics teams for upcoming stock arrivals. Ensure sufficient space is prepared before shipment arrivals. Process & Excel Management Create, maintain, and improve inventory and warehouse process sheets in Excel. Track: Stock in / stock out Internal transfers Box counts and quantities Location-wise inventory Generate accurate inventory reports as required by management. Identify gaps and suggest improvements in warehouse processes. Skills & Requirements Technical Skills Strong working knowledge of MS Excel (filters, formulas, data tracking, reports). Basic understanding of inventory control and warehouse processes. Ability to maintain error-free stock records. Soft Skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to manage multiple teams and priorities. Good communication and coordination skills. Problem-solving mindset with a process-oriented approach. Preferred Qualifications Experience in FMCG / retail / e-commerce / distribution warehouses. Prior experience managing warehouse staff. Experience handling multiple SKUs and brands.
