Assistant Sales Manager

Job Summary:We are looking for a results-driven Assistant Sales Manager with strong telecalling and lead conversion skills. The role involves generating new business opportunities, following up with potential clients, converting leads into sales, and supporting the Sales Manager in achieving revenue targets. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, persuasive ability, and a customer-focused approach. Key Responsibilities:Handle outbound telecalling to prospective leads and existing customers. Convert inbound and outbound leads into confirmed sales. Maintain and update the leads database/CRM with follow-up details. Understand customer requirements and provide suitable product/service solutions. Achieve individual and team sales targets within deadlines. Support Sales Manager in planning and implementing sales strategies. Prepare and present daily/weekly reports on calls made, leads generated, and conversions achieved. Build and maintain strong customer relationships for repeat business. Participate in sales meetings, training, and reviews for continuous improvement. Ensure compliance with company policies, pricing, and sales processes. Requirements & Skills:Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred). 2–4 years of experience in telecalling / inside sales / lead generation. Proven track record in lead conversion and achieving sales targets. Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle objections and close deals effectively. Proficiency in MS Office & CRM software. Self-motivated, target-oriented, and team player. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):Number of calls made daily/weekly. Number of qualified leads generated. Conversion rate (leads to sales). Achievement of monthly/quarterly sales targets. Customer satisfaction & retention rate.
