Electrical Technician

Job PurposeThe Electrical Technician is responsible for the repair, maintenance, and servicing of electrical equipment. The role also includes providing technical training and guidance to customers for the proper use, operation, and maintenance of equipment. Key ResponsibilitiesPerform troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of electrical machines and equipment. Diagnose faults and ensure timely resolution to minimize downtime. Conduct routine inspections and safety checks of equipment. Install, test, and calibrate electrical components and systems. Provide on-site and off-site training to customers on equipment usage, safety, and preventive care. Prepare service reports, maintenance logs, and documentation. Ensure compliance with company standards, quality norms, and safety procedures. Support the Service and Operations team in achieving customer satisfaction. Assist in developing training material and technical manuals for end-users. Stay updated on new electrical technologies and equipment upgrades. Required Qualifications & SkillsITI / Diploma / Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. Proven experience in electrical repair and maintenance (preferably in industrial equipment). Strong knowledge of electrical circuits, schematics, and troubleshooting methods. Hands-on experience with electrical tools, instruments, and safety practices. Good communication and customer-handling skills for training and support. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Willingness to travel for service and training assignments. Work EnvironmentPrimarily workshop/field-based role with regular visits to customer sites. Requires adherence to safety protocols and use of protective equipment.
