As an Area Sales Manager for an industrial products company specializing in Vacuum Pumps & Pumping Systems, Piston Pumps, Rotary Vane Pumps, and more, your role will involve the following responsibilities: - Business & Territory Development: - Lead the entire sales operation in the Gujarat/MP Region. - Achieve product/segment-wise sales targets and establish new key accounts in the designated territory. - Prepare monthly sales projections aligned with annual sales targets. - Team Management: - Efficiently achieve targets through a team of 5-6 sales engineers. - Mentor and retain talent within the team. - Business Promotion & Branding: - Strategize and execute essential business promotion/branding activities. - Manage various exhibitions and subsequent customer contact programs. - Technical Knowledge Upgradation: - Continuously enhance application knowledge. - Provide techno-commercial support to all customers. - Customer Relationship Management: - Cultivate premium relationships with platinum customers. - Develop customer retention programs for existing clientele. Qualifications Required: - BE in Mechanical, Instrumental, Production, Chemical, or Electrical, coupled with an MBA in Marketing. - Relevant selling experience, particularly in the process-chemical & pharma industry, is essential. - Good engineering knowledge and a solid technical understanding are prerequisites. - Excellent communication and presentation skills are mandatory for this role.
