Job Description

The Assistant Restaurant Manager for a Restaurant and Brwery will support the General Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of Restaurant and Brewery, ensuring a seamless guest experience, smooth restaurant and bar functioning, and achievement of financial and service excellence goals. The role involves managing staff, maintaining service quality, controlling costs, and assisting in marketing and promotional activities.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operations Management

  • Assist in daily operations of the restaurant and bar, including opening and closing procedures.
  • Monitor service standards and ensure compliance with company SOPs.
  • Ensure compliance with FSSAI, hygiene, and safety regulations.
  • Handle guest concerns and resolve issues promptly to maintain satisfaction.

2. Staff Management & Training

  • Assist in hiring, training, and supervising front-of-house (FOH) staff.
  • Create and manage staff schedules to ensure optimal coverage during peak hours.
  • Motivate team members to deliver excellent service and maintain high morale.
  • Conduct briefings and training sessions on service standards, upselling, and customer engagement.

3. Financial & Inventory Control

  • Assist in monitoring daily sales and revenue targets.
  • Track food and beverage costs, minimize wastage, and ensure efficient stock control.
  • Support accurate billing, cash handling, and POS management.
  • Prepare reports on sales, labour, and inventory for management review.

4. Guest Experience & Service Excellence

  • Greet and interact with guests, ensuring an exceptional dining experience.
  • Handle VIP guests and large party reservations professionally.
  • Monitor guest feedback and work on continuous improvement initiatives.

5. Marketing & Promotions Support

  • Assist in planning and executing in-house promotions, events, and happy hours.
  • Coordinate with the marketing team to enhance brand visibility through social media and local campaigns.
  • Support in introducing innovative ideas to attract new customers and retain loyal ones.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Hospitality Management (preferred).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a supervisory role in a restaurant, bar, or brewery.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Knowledge of POS systems and basic financial reporting.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
