SuperK is a well-funded early-stage startup offering a full-stack solution to empower small retail stores in Tier 2 and below towns. SuperK is rebranding existing small-format retail stores and providing them with the benefits of procurement, tech systems, intelligence, and marketing at scale to create a chain of mini supermarkets. Some parallels can be drawn to how Oyo has transformed the small hotel industry, Medplus Apollo have changed pharma retail, and BigC others have changed offline mobile buying. What you will be doing Responsible for growing selection, improving terms and cost structures, building long-term relationships with vendors for the subcategories/brands assigned. Develop alternate sources of supply to get best competitive terms. Deep understanding of market, vendors, brands, and channel wise pricing structures. Negotiate pricing and commercial terms to ensure cost-effective product sourcing. Regular engagement with suppliers / brands including in-person monthly meetings. Analysis of competing offerings available to the customers (across multipleoffline and online channels) Interact closely with the warehouse and store managers on various aspects of pricing and stock levels etc. Account reconciliation, payables, and receivables management What we would like to see in you Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred). Minimum 5 to 6 years experience working as a category manager in FMCG / CPG at leading national / regional retailers, ecommerce or Q commerce companies. Commercial understanding of terms, margins etc. Good ability to use MS Office. Proven people management skills Ability to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholder management. Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities. Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions. Job Location: Bangalore
