Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Assist in the development and implementation of purchasing strategies. Source new suppliers and maintain strong relationships with existing vendors. Negotiate contracts, pricing, terms, and delivery schedules. Prepare and process purchase orders in a timely manner. Monitor and follow up on open purchase orders to ensure timely delivery. Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., sales, accounts) to understand procurement needs. Analyze market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities. Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data. Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement regulations. Assist in evaluating supplier performance based on quality, delivery, and pricing. Handle invoice discrepancies and coordinate with the accounts department for payment processing.
