Assistant Purchase Manager

Location: Andheri, Mumbai

Experience: 5+ years - FMCG company experience is mandatory.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Ø Receiving the enquiries from the Sales Team( RM Category)

Ø Understanding the enquiry, checking the details received

Ø After getting the sufficient details will float the enquiry to concern vendors

Ø Follow up will be taken with vendor after sending the enquiry

Ø After receiving quotations, making the comparison on technical & commercial basis, negotiation to be done and best rate quotation to be shared with costing team within given timeline

Ø Solving the technical queries of the buyer on the given offer as well as post order also (as and when required)

Ø To do vendor registration as per given norms

Ø Purchase order checklist has to be followed

Ø Supplier agreement to get signed, once the purchase order is released to vendor

Ø To get progress update of goods, regular follow up has to be done (once in a week). In case of any delay in supply of goods buyer has to be timely intimated through sales team

Ø Follow up for the pre shipment & post shipment documents (packing list, etc...) with supplier

Ø Regular visits/ inspection to the supplier factory to know the work/ production progress for project cargos

Ø Supplier's tax invoice to be cross checked for QTY and product rate with purchase order and to send the required details & documents to accounts team for the final payments as per PO terms

Ø Coordination with QC inspection team during their visit at supplier’s factory for the engineering goods

Ø Maintain and updating the tracker of enquiries and orders on regular basis for MIS purpose.

Ø Maintaining and updating the vendor master data on regular basis for records

Ø Follow-up with vendors/ suppliers ( for timely goods delivery) to be done on regular basis

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
