Assistant Project Manager

Job Description:

As an IT Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects within the IT department. You will work closely with various stakeholders, including clients, team members, and senior management, to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate and lead cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Manage project changes and ensure project documentation is complete and up-to-date.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, and resolve any issues that arise.
• Monitor project progress and performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Provide regular status reports to stakeholders and senior management.
• Ensure compliance with IT policies, standards, and best practices.
• Foster a collaborative and productive team environment.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an IT Project Manager, preferably in a similar industry.
• Strong technical background with knowledge of software development and IT infrastructure.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Proficient in project management tools and software (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Trello).
• PMP certification is highly desirable.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 1+ years of project management experience in the IT sector.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
